RONALD ARTHUR HOYT
HOYT, RONALD ARTHUR - The death of Ronald Arthur Hoyt of Wirral, N.B. occurred on February 8, 2006 at the Oromocto Public Hospital, husband of the late Evelyn J. (Kirkpatrick) Hoyt and his second wife Celia (Lee, Arbeau) Hoyt. Born on January 9, 1911 at Gaspereaux Stn., N.B. the son of William Austin Hoyt and Georgia Stewart (Perkins) Hoyt. He lived all his life in Wirral and was a farmer and Rural Mail Driver for 45 years, retiring in 1982. He was well known in the area for being able to find water with an Apple Tree Branch Divining Rod. He was a member, since 1958, of the Wirral Baptist Church and a former Trustee. Survived by daughter Rose (Maurice) Muir of West Haven, Conn., sons Lawrence (Mary) Hoyt of Dartmouth, N.S. and Donnie (Sylvia) Hoyt of Wirral, grandchildren Janey (Normand) d'Eon, Terry Hoyt, Randy (Debbie) Muir and Jeff (Bonnie) Muir; great-grandchildren Jason & Gregory d'Eon and Michael & Rebecca Muir; step-children Sandra (Jim) Baxter, Mary Lou (Roger) Gagnon, Lawrence (Rene) Arbeau, Russell (Carol) Arbeau and Burton (Marilyn) Arbeau; sisters-in-law Gertrude Kirkpatrick and Pearl McLaughlin, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, N.B. on Friday February 10 from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be held from Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday February 11th at 2 PM with Pastor Gary Gray officiating. Interment to follow in the Wirral Baptist Cemetery.
