LEAVITT, RUTH BERNICE - Ruth Bernice Leavitt passed away at Lincourt Manor, February 11th, 2006 after a long illness. She was born March 19th, 1931, daughter of the late Harry and Rose Robinson of Milltown, NB. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Leavitt and son, Ronald Leavitt, her sisters, Hazel Nickson, Irene Russell and Joan (Bob) Boyd and her nieces, nephews and cousins. Also her sisters-in-law Ruth Johnson, Joyce Sellars, Jackie Leavitt, Jean McCurdy and Margaret Leavitt. Ruth was a member of the Kirk-McColl United Church and the Pythian Sisters #30. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. Visiting hours will be held on Monday February 3, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on February 14, 2006 at 2 PM with Rev. Dr. Mark Hatfield officiating, assisted by Rev. Donald McCarty. Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. In Ruth's memory, donations to the Alzheimers Society, Lincourt Manor or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
