McDONOUGH, LOIS LORRAINE - The death of Lois Lorraine McDonough occurred on February 17, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Alva and Gladys (Lobb) Parks. She was employed with Irving Oil Ltd. for several years. She is survived by her companion Ronald Thorne, sons Richard (Rick) E. (Linda) of Darlings Island, Mark A. of St. Martins, daughter Wendy McDonough (Laurie Roy) of French Village, brothers Reuel Parks, Donald Parks (Sylvia), sisters Shirley Gaudette (Bill), Jean Eisner (Don), Maureen Porter (Wendall Jones), grandchildren Mark Jr., Katlyn, Arron, Niklas Roy, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased brother Gregory Parks and sister Alva Stackhouse. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), visiting will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at a time to be announced, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated.
