Earl Cook

The death of Earl Cook, age 95, of Sackville occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Born in Upper Sackville, he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Ayer) Cook. Earl was a carpenter and retired after several years with the NB Dept of Highways. He was a private man with a great sense of humour who enjoyed his home. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 73 years Nita (Bowser), Sackville; a son Edward (Viola), B.C.; two grandsons Roger and Derek and a granddaughter Janet; four great grandchildren Adam, Noah, Bronwen and Sophie; sister Edna Best, Sackville. He was predeceased by his sister Mildred McGinnis; infant sister; and a brother Percy Cook. Earl's family will receive friends at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. At 7 p.m. Friday, a service of Thanksgiving will be conducted by Richard Fillmore.
