BADGER, WINNIFRED B. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital Thursday February 23, 2006 Mrs. Winnifred Badger passed away. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Minnie (Randall) Green. Winnie was born and raised at Ingalls Head, Grand Manan Island. Later she left and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force where she met and married her husband Harold, they moved back to Grand Manan Island in the 1980's where they made a home and worked hard at several family businesses, until her failing health could not permit her to work any longer. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband Mr. Harold G. Badger, one daughter Mrs. Patricia (Randy) Toll of Ingalls Head, NB, one son Mr. Tim (Melissa) Badger of Grand Harbour, NB, one brother Mr. Bernard Green of Grand Harbour, NB, two Grandsons Jason and Doug, one Step Grandson Chas, and one Great Granddaughter Abigail, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Badger was predeceased by two sisters Mrs. Margaret Leavitt, Mrs. Elizabeth Walker and one brother Mr. Edison Green. The family has requested no visitation, and the Funeral Service will take place from the Grand Harbour United Baptist Church Saturday, February 25th, 2006 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Gordon Walker officiating, internment to follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
