FOLKINS, JOYCE - The death of Joyce Folkins of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on March 7, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Hexham, England, the daughter of the late George W. and Jane Elizabeth (Johnson) Heppell and wife of the late Kenneth D. Folkins. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Susan Friars and husband Blaine of Smiths Creek and Sylvia Dunseith and husband Ross of Abbotsford BC; granddaughters Jillian and Alicia Friars; sister-in-law Thelma Heppell; sister-in-law Ruth Ramsey; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother George J. Heppell. At Joyce's request, there will be no visitation held. The funeral service will be held at Wesley United Church, Berwick on Friday March 10, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Linda Fuller officiating. Interment will take place at Berwick Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133).
