OLSEN, (JOHN) LAWRENCE - The death of (John) Lawrence T. Olsen of Saint John, loving companion of Isa Amburg occurred unexpectedly on Saturday March 11, 2006 at his residence. Born 1940 in Saint John he was the son of the late Olaf T. and Mary I. (Speight) (Sellen) Olsen. Lawrence was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 53, Honorary Member of Main Brace and a Life Member of Saint John and District Men's Dart League. He is survived by his daughters Sherrie Lynne Olsen of Ontario and Francine Olsen of Saint John; brother Martin Sellen of Saint John; sisters Penny Storer (Ronald) of Moorefield, Ontario and Rosemarie Bagg of Toronto, Ontario; sister in law Lorraine Speight of Bonny River, NB; Isa's family: son Kevin; granddaughter Laura; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Malcolm, William, David and Jimmy and nephew Jamie. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday March 13, 2006 from 2-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday March 14, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date.
