JOSEPHINE MARY BREAU
BREAU, JOSEPHINE MARY - At the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on Monday, March 27, 2006, Mrs. Josephine Mary (Babineau) Breau, wife of the late Joseph Albert Breau, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Born in St. Louis de Kent, NB, on January 15th, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Harriet (Guimone) Babineau. Josephine will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Leo of Saint John; Raymond (Annette) of Beaver Harbour and Ronald (Carolyn) of Blacks Harbour; four daughters: Evelyn (Roger) Charest of Gardiner, Mass.; Linda (Doug) Powell of Riverview, NB; Eileen (Bob) Bryan of Pocologan, and Wanda Deveau of Blacks Harbour; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by one daughter, Elizabeth Godin; one grandson, Donnie; one great-grandson, Tylor; seven brothers, Arthur, Luke, Placid, Marcel, Henry, Alexander and Dozie; three sisters, Mary Ferguson, Celeste Savoy and Louise St. Coeur. Josephine loved her church and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was well known for her delicious cooking and her great sense of humor. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB, E5C 3L6 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church in Blacks Harbour on Thursday at 10:00 am, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
