GLEN ARCHIBALD MCLEAN
MCLEAN, GLEN ARCHIBALD - The death of Glenn Archibald McLean at the age of 96 occurred on April 16, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. Born in Waterville, Carleton County, he was the son of Julia and Harvey McLean. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters as well as his wife Margarett (Baird) McLean. At the time of his death he was a resident of Shaw's Special Care Home in Waterville. He was a member of the Waterville United Baptist Church where, for much of his life, he served as a Sunday School Teacher, deacon and choir member. He loved music, photography, bird feeding and was an avid gardener. He was especially proud of ribbons awarded for his flower arrangements at Old Home Week. Glen is survived by three daughters; Mary Miller (Richard), Salt Spring, BC, Jeanne Shaw (Alton), Simonds, NB, Barbara Mealey (Robert), Riverview, NB, eight grandchildren, seven great grand children, brother, Harry (Vivian) McLean, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Waterville United Baptist Church.
