LANGLAIS, JOSEPH RAOUL - On Thursday May 11, 2006, after a courageous battle, Joseph Raoul Langlais (London, Ontario) in his 76th year, quietly went home to the Lord to join his beloved wife Jean (2002). His children, family and friends will sadly miss Joe. A devoted father to Donna and Allan Reid (Ingersoll), Garry and Susan Langlais (Canmore AB), Brian and Brenda Langlais (Almonte), Katherine Dandeno (Ottawa), and grandfather to ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Henry and Thelma Langlais (Oshawa), Theresa and Bill Johnson, Emile and Muriel Langlais, Anna and Mackie McKee, Rita Janes, Gerry and Ethel Langlais, Ruth Langlais, Estelle and Robert Middleton, Paul and Sandra Langlais, Guy Langlais (all from NB) and predeceased by brother Roger. The family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at the Dearness Home, and the Saint Elizabeth's nurses, caregivers, Father Patrick Byrne and friends for all their assistance this past year. Donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 11 am. After the service there will be a brief reception celebrating his life. Cremation and interment will be at a later date.
