NEILSON, GAIL A. - 1928-2006 - Gail A. Neilson of Montreal passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 22, 2006 lovingly surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Hazel (Tapley) Neilson of Woodstock; Sister, Shirley Frost of England . She is survived by her sister, Joyce Sherwood of Woodstock, NB; brother-in-law Brian Frost of England as well as by several nieces and nephews. A long time resident of Montreal, Gail dedicated over fifty years of her professional life to Wood Gundy and to the Cole Foundation which provides funds for medical facilities for various Montreal hospitals and for research in the areas of pediatric oncology and hematology. Gail was a long time member of the Erskine and American United Church. She was an avid golfer and a regular badminton player. Gail's zest for life also included frequent international travels. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at The Culberson Funeral Chapel 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. A reception will follow the services at The Culberson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Woodstock Branch of the Canadian Diabetic Association.
