WARD, EMMA L.J. - The death of Emma Lorretta Jean Ward, wife of the late George Ward, occurred at the St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home on Tuesday May 23, 2006. Born in Quebec, on July 18, 1927. Survived by three sons: Raymond of Edmonton, AB, Irwin of Montreal, PQ and Lewis of Saint John, NB: four daughters: Georgine Ward of Ottawa, ON, Cindy (Ron) Robb of Saint John, NB, Brenda Ward of Quebec City, PQ, Patricia (Nathan) Hope of Saint John, NB; several grandchildren, and great-grand children, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Emma is predeceased by her sister, Lilia Bates. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
