MANGUM, WILFRED EUGENE - Wilfred Eugene Mangum of Hartland passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. Born January 15, 1921, he was the son of the late John and Jennie (Melvin) Mangum. Wilfred was a D Day veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by his wife Jean (Sinclair); sisters, Ruth Sharpe, Phyllis Orser; brothers, Harold and Gerald. He is survived by his children Natalie (Toby) Halloran of Sault St. Marie, ON, Melody (Jamie) Curran of Mount Pearl NL, Greg (Tanya) MacKinnon, Leslie (Michael Coughlin) MacKinnon; grandchildren, Laura (Nathan Plichta) Halloran, Alexander Halloran, Blayne Halloran, Matthew Curran, Jennie Curran; great granddaughter, Cassady Halloran; sister-in-laws, Erma and Millie Mangum; nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland with Rev.
