RICHARD, DONALD L. - The death of Donald L. Richard of 111 Sidney St. occurred at his residence on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Mr. Richard was born in Saint John, a son of the late George and Rose Marie (Cyr) Richard. He had been employed as custodian in the Bank of Nova Scotia Building (Charlotte St.) until his retirement. He was a member of Bishop McMahon Council K. of C. and Msgr. Lockary 4th Degree Assembly. He was predeceased by a brother, Nelson Richard; and a sister, Muriel Best. He is survived by four nieces, Patricia Foss, Debra Schooley, Cynthia Beck, and Laurie Osmon; and two nephews, George and Christopher Best. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at 10:30. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Members of the Knights of Columbus will gather at the funeral home on Thursday evening at seven o'clock for prayers. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
