GARTLEY, IVAN G. (1921-2006) - Ivan George Gartley of Jacksontown, NB passed away on Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, NB at the age of 85. Son of the late Harold and Jean (Culberson) Gartley, he was born in Jacksontown, NB on April 17, 1921. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise (Strong) Gartley; daughters, Carolyn (Arthur) Keizer and Judy Gartley (Wayne Shortall); grandchildren, Jason (Alicia) Partington, Scott and Christine MacMaster; sisters, Shirley Sharpe of Woodstock, NB and Doris (Clarence) Dickinson of Hartland, NB; brothers, Weldon (Joyce) Gartley of Lindsay, NB and Ralph (Ruth) Gartley of Woodstock, NB; sister-in-law, Alma Gartley of Woodstock, NB; and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Glen Gartley; brothers-in-law, Ralph Sharpe, Allison Strong, Hazen Strong, Lloyd Strong, Donald Strong; and sister-in-law, Kathryn Strong. Resting at The Culberson Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, June 4, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sung Min Jung officiating. Interment at Waterville United Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pat Gallivan, Roy Sharpe, Roy Burpee, Roy Culberson, Murray Culberson, Craig Dickinson.
