AUGUSTINE, CHARLES RICHARD - The death of Charles Richard Augustine, husband of Arlene (Joe) Augustine, occurred on June 2, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Big Cove Indian Nation, he was the son of the late Thomas and Isabel (Mettalic) Augustine. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69 and the RCMP Veteran's Association. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Charles (Andrea) of the Miramichi; daughters, Martina Augustine (Justin) of Grand Bay Westfield, April Augustine and June Augustine of Nerepis; brothers, Lloyd, Jake, Frank and Noel; sisters, Isabel, Lucy, Nancy, Gloria, Sylvia and Martina; grandchildren, Robert, Isabel, Raine, Alex, Summer and Tanya; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. His sister, Lillian; and brother, Michael predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral will be held from Bay View Chapel on Tuesday at 10:00 am, followed by cremation. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. www.bayviewfh.com
