CRANN, LESLEY JOHN 'ANDY' - The death of Lesley John 'Andy' Crann, husband of Constance 'Connie' E. (Cole) Crann, occurred on June 1, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Grand Falls Station, NF, he was the son of the late William F. and Kitty M. (King) Crann. While an infant, his mother predeceased him and he was raised by his stepmother, Lilias M. (Brinston) Crann. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1952-1974, during which time he served with the UN Forces in Cyprus. He was employed with Keddy's Inn, Fort Howe as supervisor of the laundry department until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters, Heather Smith of Saint John, Darlene Scase (George) of Ontario, and Trudy Theriault (Victor) of Saint John; his brother, Charlie; sisters, Gladys, Edna and Beverly, all of NF; grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Christina, George Jr., and Michele; great-granddaughters, Karly, Kayla, Kayleigh, and Kaitlyn; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634- 7424) with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Brenan's Chapel, followed by cremation.
