GANONG, ALBERT N. - The death of Albert N. Ganong of Kingston, husband of the late Doris Ganong occurred June 7, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Rogers Road, son of the late Arthur and Ethel (Vail) Ganong. He worked at the Saint John Dry Dock for seven years and the Sugar Refinery for thirty five years retiring in 1980. Albert enjoyed fishing, farming and carpentry work. He is survived by two sons Paul Ganong (Judy), Rogers Road, Patrick Ganong, Yarmouth, NS; one sister Nora Toole, Coboconk, ON; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Howard, one brother George and three sisters Doris Levasseur, Nettie Cormier and Helen Caron. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
