RIDEOUT, HILTON EDWARD - The death of Hilton Edward Rideout, age 88 of Lower Kintore, NB occurred at Hotel Dieu Hospital, in Perth-Andover, NB on June 15, 2006. Born in Glassville, NB on December 19, 1917, he was the son of the late Bessie Clark and Albert Rideout. He moved to Lower Kintore at the age of 17. He was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Perth-Andover, NB. Hilton did mixed farming and enjoyed having horses. He loved to play guitar and sing. Predeceased by his wife, Alice Pearl (Lappage) Rideout on November 14, 2004. Hilton is survived by 10 daughters, Donna (Ronald) Bates of North Ogden, UT, Shirley (Maurice) Fournier of Fort Fairfield, ME, Barbara (John) McAllister of Amherst, NS, Wanda (Daniel) Goodine of Fredericton, NB, Judy (Larry) Libby of Caribou, ME, Dian (Kevin) McDougall of Hartland, NB, Angela (Greg) Pelkey of Woodstock, NB, Sherry (Reg) DeMerchant of Lower Kintore, NB, Patsy (Mark) McCarthy of Carlingford, NB, Tina (John) Rideout of Orangeville, ON; seven sons, Wayne (Charlotte) of Aroostook, NB, Robert (Barb) of Bath, NB, Scott (Maxine) of Lower Kintore, NB, Winston (Lynn) of Currie Siding, NB, Ross (Barb) of Perth-Andover, NB, Billy (Ann) of Lower Kintore, NB and Doug (Michelle) of Lower Kintore, NB; two sisters, Geraldine Gee of Carlingford, NB and Velma Bubar of Gordonville, NB; one brother, George (Inez) Rideout of Debec, NB; 34 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Hilton was predeceased by infant son, Ricky; infant granddaughter, Wendy Fournier; grandson, Jeff Bates; six sisters, Frances Delong, Elsie Dugan, Emma Sayles, Viola Delong, Ruth McDougall, and Edna Poitras; two brothers, Ellery and Murlin Rideout; and daughter-in-law, Linda. Visitation will take place at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover on Saturday, June 17th at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover on Sunday, June 18th, 2006 at 2pm with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Melville United Church Cemetery, Kincardine, NB. Memorials to Melville United Church Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
