ELGEE, CORA MABEL - The death of Cora Mabel Elgee of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, June 26, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Cross Creek, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Dora Mae (Reid) Elgee. Cora was affiliated with St. Paul's Anglican Church, Cross Creek. She enjoyed watching television, and in her earlier years liked to garden, growing both vegetables and flowers. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Sellick of Greenhill, NB and Muriel Needles of Saint John, NB; one niece, Bernice (Les) Button and two nephews, Avon and Walter (Jocelyn) Sellick. Besides her parents, Cora was predeceased by two brothers, Perley and Jack Elgee; and two brothers-in-law, Guy Needles and Lloyd Sellick. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 12 to 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m with Rev. Ranall Ingalls officiating and Father Stuart Allen assisting. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Cross Creek.
