SCOTT, GORDON WILLIAM - The death of Gordon William (Bill) Scott of Morna, occurred unexpectedly on June 30, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1933 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Walter and Lillian (Titus) Scott. Bill worked for Dominion Stores for a number of years before moving to Boston in 1970, where he worked for Roche Brothers Super Market. Bill was a volunteer for Library Volunteers of Massachusetts and had received several achievement awards. In 1995 Bill returned home to Saint John. He was a member of the Support Staff of Fundy Funeral Home. Bill is survived by his close friend, John Duguay; brother, Douglas Scott (wife Anice) of Red Head; sister, Viola Ring of Grand Bay-Westfield; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Following cremation, visitations will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Grand Bay-Westfield on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Followed by Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
