CARPENTER, ALFRED ELLIOT - The death of Alfred E. Carpenter of Kars, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 10, 2006. He was the son of the late Albert and Myrtle (Vanwart) Carpenter. Alfred is survived by his wife; Eleanor (Marr), daughters; Kim (Pauline), Fredericton and Stacey (Kevin) Reicker, Kars and son; Peter (Nancy), Sussex, six grandchildren; Matthew and Alex Carpenter, Lynn, Lisa, Kelly and Johnathan Reicker, whom he loved very much. Four brothers; Hazen, Hampton, Murray (Barb), Gerald (Florence), Kars and Raymond (Bonnie), Fredericton, two sisters; Doreen (George) Belyea and Vi (Clayton) Marr, Wickham, several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB Thursday, 2 - 8 PM. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM, followed by a private family interment in Tennant's Cove Cemetery.
