ANNABELLE MACCALLUM

MACCALLUM, ANNABELLE - Mrs. Annabelle MacCallum, widow of Eubulus MacCallum of Tabusintac Nursing Home, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 22, 2006, at her late residence, at the age of 99. Born in Tabusintac, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabel (Buchanan). She was a home maker and school teacher. She was a member of St John's Presbyterian Church, Tabusintac NB. She was a life member of Women's Missionary Society, Women's Institute, Library Committee, former church organist, member of Tabusintac Senior Citizens Club, and mentor to many students. She is survived by four daughters, Josephine MacKnight of New Jersey, Carol Stymiest of Miramichi, Anna Palmer (Murray) of Moncton, Dorothy of Tabusintac; one son, William (Dorothy Ann) MacCallum of Bathurst; one sister, Bertha Stymiest of Tabusintac; one sister-in-law, Kay Price; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Eubulus in 1987, one son John in 1982; four sisters, Mabel Hargrove, Emma Nolan, Catherine Lewis and Eva MacKnight; five brothers, Howard, Robert, Richard, William and Murray. Mrs. Annabelle MacCallum is resting at St John's Presbyterian Church, Tabusintac NB, with visitation today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 25, at 4 pm from St John's Presbyterian Church, with Rev Gillis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac NB. At the request of the family donations to Tabusintac Nursing Home, St John's Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or a memorial of one['s choice would be appreciated.
