HUNTER, ALLAN KENNETH - On Friday July 28, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Allan passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving brother Phil and went to be with the Lord at the age of 68. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Allan C. and Emma G. (Welch) Hunter. Allan is survived by his loving wife Eileen (Estey) Hunter, his children Diane Chamberlain (David) of Baxter's Corner, Karen Williams (Al) of Kingston Peninsula and Todd Hunter of Vancouver; grandchildren Scott, Ryan, Kaile Emma and Taylor Chamberlain, Aaron, Krystyna and Kurtis Williams; brother Phillip Hunter (Carolyn Thorne) of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Allan was the owner and operator of Sea Farer Marine for many years. He loved to fish and travel and spending time with his family. Dad fought his illness with courage and dignity until his last breath. He lived for his family and his family lived for him. Dad was always there for us and we will love him forever. By request there will be no visitations. A Memorial Service will be held from Kennebecasis Baptist Church on Thursday August 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Following the service a reception will be held in the Kennebecasis Baptist Church. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
