OUELLETTE, PATRICK - At the Grand Falls Manor, August 10, 2006, Mr. Patrick Ouellette of Grand Falls passed away on his 86th birthday. He was married to the former Lorette Godbout. Born at Drummond in 1920, he was a son of the late Come and Marie (Bourgoin) Ouellette. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ouellette was a potato farmer and broker as well as having undertaken numerous business ventures over his career. He was a founding member of the Grand Falls Richelieu Club and was also a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree of Council 2331 and 4th degree of the 0621 Assembly. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven children, Gilles (Julia) of Toronto, Jacques (Marise) of Grand Falls, Jean-Maurice of Quebec, Micheline of Grand Falls, Michel (Janique) of Douglas, Arizona, Pierrette of Rothesay and Jean-Marc (Andree) of Grand Falls; seven grandchildren, Stephane, Isabelle, Lianne, Luc, Melanie, Vincent and Pier-Luc; two sisters, Rose Castonguay (Augustin) of Grand Falls and Therese Gongaware (Barton) of Taylor, Michigan; seven brothers, Pit (Leonne) of Edmundston, Fernand (Yvette) of St-Bruno, Quebec, Adolphe (Mona) of Sarnia, Ontario, Come (Colette) and Jules (Norma) of Drummond, Laurent (Berthilde) and Roger (friend Doris) of Grand Falls; sisters-in-law, Micheline, Reine and Irene; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers, Edmond, Jean-Real, Paul, Leo, Laurier and Landry; one sister, Blanche Levesque; sisters-in-law, Marie, Laurette, Marielle and Bernadette and brother-in-law, Camille Levesque. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11a.m. His funeral will be held Saturday, August 12th at 11a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption Cemetery.
