GALLANT, ABEL ROLAND - Abel Roland Gallant of Grand Falls passed away unexpectly at the Grand Falls General Hospital on September 19, 2006. Born in Val d'Or, QC on April 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Edouard and Beatrice (Geneau) Gallant. Besides his mother, Abel is survived by sisters Rina (Fred Gallant) of Tilley, Monique (Michel Coulombe) and Andrea Gallant (Sylvio Martel), both of Kedgwick, Diane (David DeLeavey) of Blue Bell, Ginette Gallant (Richard Doucette) of Plaster Rock; his brothers Raymond (Pearl) Gallant of Sisson Ridge, Marcel (Dianne) Gallant of Drummond. Besides his father, Abel was predeceased by a sister Francine, and brothers Yvon and Guy. Resting at the Assumption Catholic Church in Blue Bell with visitation on Friday 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 11 am from the church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
