EUGENE (1930-2006) PERLEY
PERLEY, EUGENE (1930-2006) - Eugene Perley of Tobique First Nation passed away at St. Joeseph Hotel Dieu Hospital on September 28, 2006. Born in Tobique First Nation on February 9, 1930, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Maria (Laporte) Perley. Eugene leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Helen Perley; his daughters, Brenda (Kelly Sappier) Perley and Joanne Perley, both of Tobique First Nation; his sons, Eugene Perley Jr. (Anne) of Winchendon, Mass., Russell Perley and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Perley, both of Tobique First Nation, Warren (Melissa) Perley, Mark (Janine) Perley, Keith (Shelley) Perley, all from Worcester, Mass.; his sisters, Bertha (Peter) Sappier, Georgina Kipp, and Faith Masterson, all of Tobique First Nation; brothers, Maurice Perley, Raymond (Judy) Perley, Elmer (Hazel) Perley, Carl Perley, Jerry (Mae) Perley, David (Imelda) Perley, all of Tobique First Nation, Patrick (Janice) Perley of Fredericton; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Eugene was predeceased by his sisters, Geraldine Perley and Regina Looman. Eugene was a proud member of the Red Sox Nation Resting at 4 Perley Road Tobique First Nation, NB from 12 noon on Saturday until the time of the funeral. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 4 pm from St. Ann's Catholic Church. Eugene's nephew, Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
