GALLANT, FRANCIS JOSEPH - The death of Francis (Frank) Joseph Gallant (Papa), loving husband of June (Ingersoll) Gallant occurred on Wednesday October 11, 2006 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born 1933 in Chatham, NB he was the son of the late Angus Andrew and Mary Dorca (Breau) Gallant. Frank was a truck driver and worked for many companies throughout his career. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with each member of his family. Besides his devoted wife June, he is survived by his loving children: Danny (Doreen) Gallant of Rothesay, Brenda Gallant of Saint John, Cathy Campbell (Ken) of Alberta, Tammy Gallant (Bruce) of Saint John and Susan Gallant (Steve) of Rothesay; seven grandchildren Lynn, Lisa, Julie, David, Tammy, Rayna and Billy; four great grandchildren Bobby, Melanie, Ryan and Noah; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Sunday October 15, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday October 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
