WATERS, HILDA M.- The death of Hilda May Waters, formerly of Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, wife of the late Walter S. Waters, occurred on Thursday, October 26th, 2006 at her residence in New Minus, Nova Scotia. Born in Saint John on July 21st, 1910, she was the daughter of the late William and Erie May (Smith) McKay. Mrs. Waters was a longtime member of Silver Falls United Church and the Etta Shillington Unit of the UCW of Silver Falls United Church of which she had served as President for 25 years and for the past four years had been a member of New Minus United Church. She is survived by one son, David (Lorine) of Saint John East; one daughter, Jean Millett of New Minus, NS; two grandsons, Troy Millett of Calgary, AB and Sam Millett (Jennifer) of Lower Sackville, NS; two great grandchildren, Alysa and Rylan Millett, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Kenneth Gordon Waters in 1938; her sister, Eva McKay; and brothers, Robert and William McKay. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday, October 28th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, October 29th, 2006 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Silver Falls United Church on Monday, October 30th, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
