SMITH, LAWRENCE GORDON - The death of Lawrence Gordon Smith of Minto occurred suddenly Wednesday, November 8th, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Cumberland Bay, NB he was the son of the late William and Mable (Parlee) Smith. In addition to his loving wife, Mona (Reed) Smith, Lawrence is survived by sons William at home, Jason and daughter, Pam Kilfillen (Randy) both of Minto; granddaughter, Lindsay; grandsons, Curtis, Connor and Mitchell; two brothers, Carl Smith of Hamilton and Buddy Smith of Minto; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Betty Morton and Elsie Hartt and a brother George. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors Friday evening from 7-9pm and from where funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 11th 2006 in the Parker Memorial Chapel.
