MORRELL, MABEL - Mabel Maud Morrell, age 92 1/2, of Perth Andover (Lake Edwards) (Morrell Siding), NB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years on December 10, 1987 and her daughter, Glenna Francis (Morrell) Hitchcock on April 16, 1966. She was born on May 27, 1914 at Lake Edward, weighing 1 pound 4 ounces, the daughter or the late George and Ada Macro. A descendent of British Immigrants, she enjoyed the country life of Morrell Siding, picking wild berries and pickling her garden harvest. She moved with her family to the Perth Andover area where she was employed at the local Farmer Store before her retirement. She has resided with her son, Alton Morrell at Perth Andover for the past 19 years. Her solid advice and loving friendship will be dearly missed by the above. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be sadly missed by her family, relatives, and friends, but especially her immediate family, Patricia Nicholson, Perth Andover, Earlen and Dorothy Morrell of Morrell Siding, Alton Morrell of Perth Andover, Wanda and Roger Edgecombe of Caribou, Maine and Fort Myers, Florida, Dawn and Frank Mavor of Perth Andover, Betty and Eric Sullivan of Plaster Rock, NB. She is survived by her 24 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her sisters, Ada, Dorothy, and Hilda Currie and brother, George Macro, predeceased her. Her kind and generous personality endeared her not only to her family but to everyone who came in contact with her. Mabel Morrell was a devote Christian and Active Communicant of Trinity Anglican Church, Perth Andover and St. Alban Anglican Church, Medford, NB. Resting at White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Tuesday, November 14th, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 15th, 2006 at 11 am from Trinity Anglican Church, Perth-Andover with Rev. John Mills officiating. Interment in St. Alban's Cemetery, Medford, NB. Memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
