CLOWES, MARY GLADYS - Gladys Mary Clowes 87 of Dartmouth died peacefully on November 13, 2006 at home. Born in Piusville, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Isabella (Blanchard) Gallant. Gladys worked as a cross guard for 13 years as well as a loving Foster Mother for many years. She is survived by son David, Lr. Sackville; daughters, Gloria Clowes Fisher, Dartmouth, NS, Muriel (Steve) Corman, Fall River. Grandchildren, Louise, Gail and Pam Fisher, Christopher, Jeremy Corman, Tara Lynn Clowes; great grandson, Gregory Fisher; great granddaughter, Melissa Fisher and great great granddaughter Kayleigh Lee-Anne. Brother, Robert (Wanda) Gallant, Saint John, NB. She was predeceased by her husband James; Son, Daniel; and daughter, Louise; brothers, Jack, Jim, William; and sister, Elaine. Visitation on Wednesday November 15, 2006 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in the Donald K. Walker Funeral Director's (902-469-5601), Dartmouth, NS. Funeral Mass Thursday November 16, 2006 at 12pm in The Lady of Assumption, Saint John, NB. Burial to follow at Holly Cross Cemetery, Donations may be made to Feed NS.
