HARRY FRANK AVERY
AVERY, HARRY FRANK - Harry Frank (1919-2006) On November 27th, 2006 our precious husband, dad, and pa passed into the presence of Jesus who he has been longing to see. He was born in 1919 on Grand Manan Island where he lived all of his life. In 1939 he joined the NB Rangers serving in the Second World War until he was medically released in 1942. Following the war he was a self employed carpenter until his retirement after which he enjoyed wood carving of small vessels. He is survived by Mrs. Stella (Parker) Avery his loving wife of 62 years; two daughters, Judy Guptill (Clinton) of Saint John, NB, Betty Russell (Dale) of Castalia, NB; one stepson, Philip Parker (Dorothy); one brother, Walter; one sister, Jenny Wilson; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother, Harry and Violet; and one sister, Christen McCulley. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home Tuesday evening, November 28th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the North Head Wesleyan Church Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Charles Bain officiating.
