MORTON ALBERT WHITE

WHITE, MORTON ALBERT - Passed away at the St. Stephen Nursing Home on November 30, 2006. Husband of Myrtle (Purdy) White. Born in St. Stephen on July 11, 1916 he was the son of the late Vernon and Harriett (Cameron). Morton worked for the CPR as a Locomotive Engineer for 40 years. Past president of Local Brotherhood of the locomotive engineers. He was a Carpenter and a Craftsman. Morton is survived by his wife Myrtle of 68 years, five sons, Laurence (Lois) of St. Andrews, Allan (Hazel) of Saint John, Guy (Ann Marie) of St. Stephen, Ronald (Lee) of Saint John, Gordon (Janice) of Saint John as well as 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. He will also be missed by one brother, Arthur Vernon and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Morton was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Resting at Castle Funeral Homes Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634-1701) with visitation on Sunday December 3, 2006 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 4, 2006 from the Fallsview Chapel at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Lancaster Baptist Church Hall.
