ARSENEAU, ANNA EILEEN - The death of Anna Eileen Arseneau occurred Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1913 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Philip and Elizabeth (Furness) George. Eileen was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger years she enjoyed sports especially figure skating and baseball, in her later years she enjoyed bowling. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her sons, Francis Arseneau of Saint John and Richard Arseneau (Ida) of Saint John; six grandchildren, Robert, Brant, Alan, Richard, Alanna and Krista; eight great grandchildren; very special nephews, Robert, Philip, Danny, Ronnie, Jack and Pat Riley. Besides her parents she was predeceased by daughter, Lyla Edith Arseneau; sister, Gladys Riley and nephew, Michael Riley. By the family's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
