MILLS, HILDA BERNICE - Miss Hilda Bernice Mills of 24 Wallace Court Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 12, 2006 at the age of 89. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on September 21, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gesner Mills and Ida Elizabeth (Babcock). Hilda is survived by her brother, Levi Clain and wife Denise Levesque of Hawaii; her sister, Blanche and husband Douglas Watson of Surrey, BC; her sister-in-law, Isabel Teed of Saint John; three nieces: Sher Clain and her husband Chris Naugler of Bridgewater, NS; Susan Gratton and her husband Darcy of Toronto; and Linda Stirling and her husband Rick of Abbotsford, BC; five nephews: Rick Teed and his wife Louise of Kingston Penninsula; David Watson and his wife Michele Hollinger of Richmond, BC; Don Watson of Vancouver BC; Dennis Watson of Surrey, BC; and Joseph Clain of Vancouver, BC; and several grand neices and nephews. Hilda is also survived by her cousins: Evelyn Smith of Amherst and Helen Bach of Nepean, On. She will be sadly missed by her many friends, including: Jessie Nason of Saint John, Mabel Danson and Ruby Nicholson of Sussex. Hilda was predeceased by two brothers: Donald Mills and Glenn Teed; and by her sister, Doris Mills. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service was held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 2:30 pm. The interment will take place at Amherst Cemetery on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 10:00 am.
