RALPH D. REED

REED, RALPH D. - of St. Almo passed away unexpectedly at Tobique Valley Hospital on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007. Born in St. Almo on September 2, 1931, he was the son of the late John and Bernetta (Hickey) Reed. He leaves behind his wife, Doris Reed (Green); his children, Kim Cooper (Leigh) of Odell, David Reed (Elizabeth) of St. Almo, Lee Reed (Anne) of Ottawa; his sisters, Margaret Brooks of Perth-Andover, Alma Dibb of Abbotsford, BC, Joan McLaughlin (Robert) of First Eel Lake, NB; a special grandson, Wayne Reed; his other grandchildren, Heather, Andrew, Rydn, Shasta, Bryson, Jenaca, Melena, Colby, and Chelby; and a great grandson, Brayden. He was predeceased by his sons, John Delbert and Blair Daniel in 1977. Ralph was a woods contractor and worked a number of years in the woods for Fraser Papers and Juniper Lumber. He was a member of the Plaster Rock Masonic Lodge and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29. Resting at the Plaster Rock Baptist Church with visitation on Thursday, January 11th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th, 2007 at 2 pm from the Church. Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment will be in Three Brooks Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Royal Canadian Legion, or to the Plaster Rock Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Masonic service held at the church on Thursday at 7:30 pm followed by a Legion Memorial Service. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover. www.brunswickfuneralhome.ca
