BARR, HELEN L. - The death of Helen L. Barr of Kingston, widow of Clinton Barr occurred January 16, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Kingston, daughter of the late Alfred and Ina (Wheaton) Worden. Helen was a member of Kingston Baptist Church and a Life Member of W.M.S. Helen loved to read and knit. She gave mittens to the church every year at Christmas. She is survived by one daughter Delta White (Vincent), Saint John; four sons Colby (Judy), Kingston, Harley (Rowena), Alberta, Garrey (Claudette), Kingston, Martin (Veronique), Kingston; one sister Alfreda Elliott, Hamilton, ON; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, four step-great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Carl and two sisters Verna (Bartlett) Buchanan and Joyce Worden. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 2:00pm, at Kingston Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Steeves officiating. Interment in Erb's Cove Baptist Cemetery. Memorials to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Gideon Memorial Bible Plan would be appreciated. Visiting 7-9pm Wednesday and 2-4pm & 7-9pm Thursday.
