PRIMROSE LEWIS
LEWIS, PRIMROSE - Mrs. Primrose Lewis of Riverview, NB, formerly of Sussex, passed away on January 16, 2007 at the age of 88. She was the daughter of the late Walter Charles and Bessie May (Phillips) Silk and was the wife of the late John Wesley Lewis who passed away in 1983. Primrose is survived by three sons, Allison (Judy) of South Carolina, Neil (Mary) of Moncton, Gordon (Irene) of Sussex; three daughters, Lois Lewis, Cheryl Daye (David) all of Ontario, Carol Hopper (Leon) of Riverview; her brother, Leonard Silk (Sally) of Summerside, PEI; two sisters, Betty Stevens-Black (Claude) of Cody's, Norma Hay of Coles Island; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Primrose was predeceased by two brothers, Cardiff and Emery and his wife Erma; by her brothers-in-law, Bob Stevens and John Hay; Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm .The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Coles Island in the spring. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's Society, Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
