FERRIS, MARY - the death of Mary M. Ferris, widow of William J. Ferris, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Saturday, January 20th, 2007. Mrs. Ferris was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late William and Caroline (Harris) Bridgeo. She was a lifelong member of the Cathedral Catholic Women's League. Mary was predeceased by a brother, Robert. She is survived by four sons, John (Beth) of Quispamsis, Thomas (Anne) of Waverley, N.S., James (Jennifer) of Concord, Mass., and Brian of Rothesay; two daughters, Mary Best (Steven) of Townsend, Mass., and Dianne Hodge (Ken) of Quispamsis; one brother, Dr. William Bridgeo (Margaret) of Halifax; 20 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday, January 21st, 2007 from 7 to 9 and on Monday, January 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning, January 23rd at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
