BRINKMAN, SIMON - 1924-2007 - Simon Brinkman of New Denmark passed away at Victoria Glen Manor on January 21, 2007. Born in Medford on September 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Carl and Alexandra (Lennon) Brinkman. He leaves behind his wife, Bernice Brinkman (Hansen); his children, Peter (Linda) Brinkman of New Denmark, Nancy (Cyril) Hawkins of Fredericton; his sister, Evelyn (Henry) Deveaux of Campbell Ford, ON; four grandchildren and one great granson. He was predeceased by his daughters, Debbie and Janice Brinkman and his brother, Vengie Brinkman. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Fred Hanson officiating, assisted by Rev. Ellen Curtis. Interment will be in St. Ansgar's Anglican Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish donation to the NB Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
