Halifax Wilhelmine C. Rose of Halifax, passed away April 15, 2008, at the QEII Health and Science Centre, Halifax. Born in Louisbourg, N.S., she was the daughter of the late William and Sadie (MacDonald) Hanham. Wilhelmine worked for many years with Simpsons Sears and later with the Victoria General Hospital as a switchboard operator. Survived by sister, Jessie Wilson, Louisbourg; brothers, Florian (Marlene) Bryan, Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Bill (Wendy) Bryan, Albert Bridge, C.B.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, John H. and brother, Daniel Hanham. No visitation by personal request. Friends may call at 6984 Leppart St., Friday, April 18, between 7-8:30 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Travel Fund or charity of choice.
