BOYD, MEREA - Our hearts are broken with the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, Merea Boyd of Chipman. Merea died at the hospital in London, Ontario on February 12, 2007. Born in Harcourt, NB on May 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Stella Wry. Merea is survived by sons Paul (Karen); Terry; Lennie (Marilyn); Martin (Jackie) and daughter Judy Chase (Bobby), sisters Violet Austin (Calvin); Catherine Chase and 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Merea was predeceased by husband Russell Boyd; grandson Jamie Boyd; sisters Bunny Petley and Maud Edmanson; brother Clarence Wry and nieces Margaret Young and Linda Adams. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Saturday, February 17, when the funeral will be held at the Chipman United Church at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
