DUNHAM (LODGE), DORIS M., - Doris, 84, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Fisherman''s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, N.S. Born in Saint John, NB, was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Bannister) Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband, Captain Ronald Dunham; her sisters, Vida Merchant, Audrey Strole, Phyllis Lodge, Irene Searle and Reta Mc Cavour; and brothers, Edward, Ronald, Fred, and Roland Lodge. She is survived by her son, Peter and his wife, Annette (St-Onge); her sister, Lois Smith, Bridgewater; her cousin, Marion Dunham, Saint John, NB; and three nieces and one nephew. Doris was a member of St. James Anglican Church in Mahone Bay, and a member of the Anglican Church Women, the Teacher Chapter of the IODE, and her bridge club. She was formerly an active member of the Mahone Bay Ladies Auxiliary to the Fisherman''s Memorial Hospital and while living in London, Ontario, she served on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries. Always an active member of her community, she leaves many friends in Mahone Bay and across Canada. Visiting will be 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 25th in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, February 26th in St. James' Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, The Rev. Ian M. Wissler officiating. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Bayview Cemetery, Mahone Bay. Family flowers only please.
