Born December 23, 1940 at Woodstock, NB to the late Ralph and Greta (Thomas) Drake. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn (Cowperthwaite) Drake; two daughters, Janice McBride (Allison) Oakville, NB, Michele Keilty (Jim) Landmark, Manitoba; seven grandchildren, Mathew, Donovan, Holly and Joe Keilty, Lesley, Haile and Molly McBride; his siblings, Joanne Harris (Bob) St John, NB, David (Sharon), Woodstock, NB, Blair (Sherri) Fredericton, NB, Gail Lawrence (Doug) Waterville, NB, Terry (June) Jacksontown, NB, Lorne (Marilyn) Jacksontown, NB; brother-in-law, Ivan Cowperthwaite (Marie); step-mother, Dorothy (Scott) Drake; step-sister, Marg Caldwell; step-brother, Jim Scott; aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NB where friends may call on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm from the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Fred Snyder officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Lakeville Cemetery.
