CAMPBELL, FRANCES HAMILTON - The death of Frances Hamilton Campbell occurred at the Nashwaak Villa on Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at the age of 93. Born in Saint John, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Carson Robert Hamilton and Elizabeth (Nickerson) Hamilton. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles William Campbell; three sisters, Aline, Florence and Lois; and one brother, Wendell. She is survived by three children, Mary Beth Beaton (husband John) of Island View, NB, John Campbell ( wife Debbie ) of Ottawa, Ontario and Paul Campbell (wife Barbara) of Fredericton, NB; as well as grandchildren, Katie and Gregor Beaton; Meghan, Alex, Vanessa, Gillian and Colin Campbell; Joseph and Rose Campbell; and one great grandson, Joshua Ferguson. She was an active contributor to her community including the Saint John Theatre Guild, the Fredericton Music Festival, the New Brunswick Civic Orchestra, the United Church Women, the New Brunswick Kindness Club and for over 20 years she was the owner/operator of College Hill Kindergarten. A memorial service will take place at St. Paul's United Church on Wednesday, February 28 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Paul Ross officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, NB. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
