EGLINGTON, MARJORIE RAE - The death of Marjorie Rae Eglington of Gagetown, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, February 26, 2007. Born in Amherst, NS she was the daughter of the late Charles and Millicent (Delesdenier) Kierstead and wife of the late Herbert Eglington. Survived by one son, Larry Eglington of Gagetown NB; one daughter, Wendy (Lee) Thorne of Hampton, NB; daughter-in-law, Theresa Eglington of Fredericton, NB; six granddaughters, Leslie (Matthias) Uhlenbruck, Stephanie (Warren) Cooke and Kelly (Mark) Hustwait all of Vancouver, BC as well as Lori (Bob) Haley of New Maryland, NB, Cheri (Marc) Mathurin of Hampton, NB and Lindsay Thorne of Fredericton, NB; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Nick and Laura Haley, Peter, Thomas and Daniela Uhlenbruck, Ryan and Leah Cooke, Alicia, Devlin and Nicola Hustwait and Nicolette Mathurin who all lovingly referred to her as GG. Pre- deceased by her husband Herbert and son, Kenneth Eglington. No visitation by request. Memorial service will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, March 1st, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Peter G. Somerville will officiate. Interment will take place in the Grace United Cemetery, Gagetown at a later date.
