MAY R. JEANS
JEANS, MAY R. - Passed away peacefully on February 26, 2007 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. She was born in Trenton, NS and was a daughter of the late Peter and Lexie (Reid) Anderson and was the widow of Ray Jeans. May came to Saint John in 1958 and was employed for many years with the dietary staff of the Saint John General Hospital. She is survived by five daughters, Emily Jeans and Thelma, (Murray McKnight) both of Saint John, Donna (William Mylen) and Lillian Brooks both of Calais, Maine and Vivian (Douglas Blades ) of Truro, NS. three brothers, Warren Anderson (Jean), Melburne Anderson (Helen) and Bruce Anderson all of Trenton, NS.; five grandchildren, Jocelyn (Rev. Robert Jones), Ray McKnight, Charles (Jennifer Blades), Pamela (Ernest Landry) and Lisa (Stuart Northup); seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son, Weldon Jeans, a grandson Weldon McKnight, a granddaughter Kimberly (Mylen) Leavitt, four brothers and four sisters. Resting at the A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Center 91 Leister St. (634-1712) from where the funeral will be held on Friday with service at 2:00 pm. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery followed by a reception in the Calvary Temple Blue Room, Sydney St. Visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 pm, Thursday 2 to 4 pm ant 7 to 9 pm. Donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
