GLENN BRIEN RODGER
RODGER, GLENN BRIEN - The death of Glenn Brien Rodger occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 5th, 2007. Born in the Ottawa Valley on April 21st, 1920. He served in the RCAF followed by a long career with the Queen's Printer in Ottawa, retiring to Fredericton in 1979. Glenn was a numismatic for many years, president of the Ottawa Coin Club, and secretary of the APNA. Glenn is survived by his loving wife Mildred (Ingalls) of 61 years, son Brien, daughter Brenda (Basil) Collett all of Kelowna, BC; brothers, Gayle, Arnold, Clive, and several nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his parents and one brother Ralph. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of Glenn's life will take place at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Friday, March 9th, 2007 at 2:00 pm with The Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. A reception will take place in the church hall immediately following the service. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to Grace Memorial United Baptist Church or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
