Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, Hazel M. Evely of Victoria, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Harold; infant son: Maxwell; parents, Jobe and Jane Snow and brother William. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Louise Evely, Victoria, Yvonne Evely-Squires, Kelligrews and Carol Wiseman, Keswick, Ont.; four sons: Harold (Sandra), Victoria, David (Eleanor), Carbonear, Robert (Brenda), CBS and Wade, Carbonear; 10 grandchildren: Paul, Neil, Sean, Dale, Nicole, Andrea, Robert, Craig, Jennifer and Michael; five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Hannah, Jayden, Erica and Emma; two brothers: Eugene (Sadie) Snow and Robert (Jackie) Snow, both of Glace Bay, N.S.; three sisters: Genevia Priddle, Victoria, Dorothy Francis, Mount Pearl, Patsy Morris, Halifax, N.S.; three sisters-in-law: Minnie Parsons, Victoria, Beatrice (Harold) Priddle, Victoria and Dorothy Parsons, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 25 at 2 p.m. from the United Church Victoria.
